Jose Abreu went 1-for-4 with a run scored during Tuesday’s 6-1 win over the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Abreu reached base on a single and scored a sacrifice fly from Andrew Vaughn in the bottom of the eighth inning. The 2020 AL MVP has been quiet in June, slashing .100/.143/.100 across 21 plate appearances. Abreu is batting a career-worst .253 this season but expects the star first baseman to bounce back soon. The 34-year-old is a prime buy-low candidate.
