Jose Iglesias hits fifth homer of 2021 in win over Royals

Angels' SS Jose Iglesias went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout en route to an 8-1 win over the Royals on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
On the surface, it seems as though Iglesias has been a slight tick above average at the plate thus far in 2021, with five home runs, 18 RBIs, and slashing .266/.297/.384. However, Iglesias ranks in the bottom-10 percent among all hitters in average exit velocity, barrel percentage, hard hit percentage, chase rate, and walk percentage. To make matters worse, he's hitting just .111 in June. Until Iglesias starts to turn it around, he's best to remain on waivers.
