Santana failed to register a hit over four plate appearances during Wednesday’s loss. He’s in the midst of a slump and is batting .050 (1-for-20) in his last five games. The 35-year-old owns a .235/.370/.402 slash line with 10 home runs, 36 RBI, and 34 runs scored across 254 plate appearances in 2021. Santana hits in the top of the Royals batting order and continues to provide decent numbers for fantasy managers this season. Slamtana is currently 20th among all first basemen in the latest ROS expert consensus rankings.
