Liam Hendriks blows save, picks up the win Friday

Liam Hendriks (3-1) allowed two runs on two hits and struck out one over one inning, picking up the win in a 5-4 extra-inning win over Detroit.

Fantasy Impact:

Hendriks entered the game to protect a 4-2 lead. After a 45-minute rain delay, Hendriks came back on the mound and allowed a hit to Miguel Cabrera. He blew the save by surrendering a two-run shot to Daz Cameron. It was the first run Hendriks allowed since April 29. The White Sox tacked on a run in extra-innings and Slydah ended up pick up the win. Despite the blown save, Hendriks has dominated in 2021, owning a 2.30 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and a 43:3 K: BB across 27 1/3 innings.
