Rangers starter Mike Foltynewicz allowed eight runs over just 2.2 innings of work in his outing against the Dodgers on Friday. He also surrendered eight hits and a walk while striking out one Los Angeles batter.
Foltynewicz is having an awful season as he now owns a 1-7 record, 5.48 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. He’s also struck out just 47 batters over 69 innings of work. He’s nowhere near relevant in fantasy, and it’s probably time for the Rangers to start thinking about whether he’s worth a spot on their roster, too.
