Josh Rojas homers twice as the Diamondbacks lose another one

by Jon Mathisen | Mariners Correspondent | Sun, Jun 13th 12:23pm EDT

Second baseman Josh Rojas went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs and two strikeouts as the Diamondbacks lost to the Angels 8-7 on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Rojas picked up his first long ball in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the D-Backs a 6-4 lead. The Angels would rally over the next two innings and retake the lead by a score of 8-6. Rojas did his best to stage a comeback with another solo home in the ninth inning to pull Arizona within one run. This was the 26-year-old's second multi-home run game of the month (and season). He's now slashing .259/.330/.463 with nine home runs, 20 RBI, and two stolen bases over 201 at-bats. Rojas has been a solid fantasy contributor over the last month and a half after a shaky start in April.
