Angels' SP Patrick Sandoval (1-2) gave up two earned runs on four hits, two walks, and four strikeouts over six innings pitched en route to his first win of the 2021 season.
Fantasy Impact:
Sandoval looked impressive for the Halos on Sunday, giving up just two runs over six innings of work. Opponents are hiting just .227 off of Sandoval this season, and his 3.51 ERA and 1.29 WHIP are a rare bright spot in a generally unpredictable Angels' rotation. Sandoval will look to continue his success on the mound when the Angels face off against the Tigers.
