Nick Solak strands eight runners amidst hitless day

by Andersen Pickard | Mariners Correspondent | Sun, Jun 13th 9:18pm EDT

A failure to capitalize on key situations hurt the Rangers in their loss to the Dodgers on Sunday. Second baseman Nick Solak epitomized that mindset as he went 0-for-4 while stranding a team-most eight Texas runners on the basepaths. He struck out once along the way.

Fantasy Impact:

Solak has struggled lately and now owns a .230/.304/.385 with eight homers this year. He's hitting just .203 on the road and .143 on the month of June, so Sunday's poor showing wasn't an outlier.
