Cleveland right-hander Emmanuel Clase threw a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 4-3 win over the Orioles on Monday. Clase struck out two and did not allow a base runner.

Clase was credited with his 10th save in 11 chances. Overall, he has a 3-2 record, 1.01 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and 30 strikeouts in 26 2/3 innings of work. He and James Karinchak have formed a formidable backend of the bullpen for Cleveland.
