Lance Lynn strikes out eight in loss to Rays

Lance Lynn allowed three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out eight across six innings during Monday’s 5-2 loss to the Rays.

Fantasy Impact:

Lynn was hurt by the long ball and surrendered two home runs to Brandon Lowe and Austin Meadows in Monday’s loss. Lynn was tagged with his second loss of the season. He has produced for fantasy managers, allowing one earned run or less in eight of his last 12 starts. The right-hander posted a 1.51 ERA this season, which ranks him third in the majors. Lynn owns a microscopic 0.93 WHIP and an impressive 80:20 K: BB across 71 2/3 innings. The 34-year-old will look to bounce back in his next start against the Astros this weekend.
