Tony Gonsolin strikes out five over 3 2/3 innings on Monday

RHP Tony Gonsolin didn't factor into the decision on Monday when he allowed one run on four hits with three walks and five strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings in the Dodgers' 3-1 win over the Phillies.

Fantasy Impact:

Gonsolin fared better on Monday than he did in his season debut when he walked five batters over 1 2/3 innings. He allowed an RBI single to Bryce Harper in the first inning and did issue three free passes but he was able to strike out five. He's clearly still working out the kinks after a long stint on the injured list earlier this season. He now owns a 3.38 ERA, 2.63 WHIP, and a 9:8 K/BB ratio over 5 1/3 innings. He gets the D-Backs in his next start this weekend. He should continue to get stretched out as the starts continue to add up.
