Lance McCullers Jr. goes 4.1 innings in return

by Andersen Pickard | Astros Correspondent | Wed, Jun 16th 7:49am EDT

Making his return from a shoulder injury on Tuesday, Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr. lasted 4.1 innings against the Rangers, surrendering three hits and walking three batters. He allowed two runs, though only one was earned. He also logged three strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact:

McCullers earned a no-decision. He is now 3-1 with a 2.89 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and .183 OBA through 10 starts. He had a great month of April before injuring himself in May, so the expectation is that he will get back on track soon and serve as a dominant No. 2 in the Houston rotation.
