Carlos Correa launches clutch solo homer

by Andersen Pickard | Twins Correspondent | Wed, Jun 16th 7:52am EDT

Astros shortstop Carlos Correa hit a clutch solo home run against the Rangers on Tuesday. The hit came with two outs in the bottom of the ninth as Houston trailed by one run. Instead of getting out and ending the game, Correa went yard and forced a 10th inning. The Astros would go on to win in extras, 6-3.

Fantasy Impact:

Correa finished the day 2-for-3 with a homer, single, and walk. He's now hitting .293/.382/.506 with a dozen homers and 36 RBI. He's been brilliant both at home (.310/.415/.575) and in the month of June (.348/.444/.674), so there is reason to believe he will continue to hit well going forward.
