Salvador Perez blasts 17th homer in loss to Tigers

Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Tigers.

Fantasy Impact:

Perez belted a two-run shot off Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal in the third inning to give the Royals a 3-1 lead. The 2020 AL Comeback Player of the Year has been on absolute fire in June and has now homered seven times over 15 games during the month. Perez is slashing .287/.320/.533 with 17 homers, 45 RBI, and 32 runs scored across 275 plate appearances in 2021. The 31-year-old is currently second among all catchers in the latest ROS expert consensus rankings.
