Yermin Mercedes went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts during Thursday’s 10-2 loss to the Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
Mercedes failed to register a hit and is in midst of a terrible slump in June. He’s hitting .111 (6-for-54) with five RBI and five walks in his last 15 games. Despite the prolonged slump, the Yerminator should be rostered in all league formats. Mercedes is slashing .275/.331/.414 with seven home runs, 34 RBI, and 22 runs scored across 62 games in 2021.
