Detroit Tigers right-hander Matt Manning allowed two runs over five innings in a 7-5 loss to the Angels on Thursday. Manning struck out three and walked two.
Fantasy Impact:
Manning is regarded as one of the top prospects in the Detroit farm system and he showed well in his first taste of the big leagues. He is expected to stick around to make his next start against the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday.
