Carlos Rodon allowed one run on three hits and three walks while striking out eight over seven innings in Friday's 2-1 loss to Houston. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodon’s breakout season continues as the left-hander allowed one run on three hits while striking out eight on Friday. He cruised through the first four innings before loading the bases in the fifth. The player known as “Los” allowed a bases-loaded walk but managed to escape the jam. Rodon threw 106 pitches, firing 67 for strikes. The 28-year-old owns a 1.83 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and a 105:20 K: BB across 73 2/3 innings in 2021. Rodon will keep things rolling in next week’s start at home against the Mariners.
