Chicago White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk during Saturday’s 7-3 loss to the Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
Vaughn took Framber Valdez deep in the seventh inning for his sixth long ball of the season. He left Friday’s game early with a face contusion. The injury wasn’t an issue on Saturday as he blasted a solo shot and reached base three times. Vaughn is starting to heat up and has now logged multi-hit efforts in two of his last four contests. The 23-year-old is slashing .236/.314/.412 across 207 plate appearances in 2021.
