Since being promoted to leadoff, Jason Kipnis has walked three times and struck out just twice in four games. He sees a good number of pitches and offers speed on the base paths, so he could stick in the lead off position. Having hit a combined total of 31 home runs in 2012 & 2013, the power dwindled last year with only six. When he breakouts, Jason Kipnis will offer 20-20 potential from second base. FantasyPros rank Kipnis 8th (rest-of-season) yet the ESPN player-rater show him in 25th (this season). The difference makes him an intriguing trade commodity.
