Alex Young surrenders five runs in loss to the Dodgers

by Jon Mathisen | Reds Correspondent | Sun, Jun 20th 11:58pm EDT

LHP Alex Young took the loss on Sunday when he allowed five runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts as the D-Backs lost to the Dodgers again by a score of 9-8.

Fantasy Impact:

Young made it through the first two innings unscathed but completely fell apart in the third inning. Justin Turner knocked an RBI single before Albert Pujols smashed a three-run dinger. Steven Souza Jr. then smacked an RBI triple to account for the fifth and final run that Young allowed. The 27-year-old now owns a 4.79 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and 35:18 K/BB ratio over 35 2/3 innings on the year. He's not on the fantasy radar whatsoever.
