Tony Gonsolin lasts just 3 2/3 innings on Sunday

RHP Tony Gonsolin didn't factor into the decision on Sunday when he allowed one run on three hits with two strikeouts across 3 2/3 innings as the Dodgers defeated the D-Backs 9-8.

Fantasy Impact:

Gonsolin has been on a pitch count since returning from the injured list, which explains why he was pulled with just 46 pitches on Sunday. Eduardo Escobar knocked an RBI single off of him in the fourth inning but that was the only run he allowed. Most importantly, Gonsolin didn't walk anyone after issuing eight free passes over his first two starts. He now owns a 3.00 ERA, 1.89 WHIP, and 11:8 K/BB ratio over nine innings this year. He'll get the Cubs at home in his next turn.
