Michael Cuddyer homers in loss to Marlins

by Kerry Kauffman | Thu, Apr 30th 10:40am EDT

The New York Mets feel to the Miami Marlins on Wednesday, 7-3. Michael Cuddyer accounted for two of the Mets' runs with a home run in the first inning. He finished 2-for-4 on the night and is now batting .247 for the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Cuddyer, batting out of the cleanup spot on Thursday, has two home runs, 11 RBI and seven extra-base hits this season. He's struck out 20 times with only six walks. Don't expect Cuddyer to put up the numbers like he did in past seasons, but he should still be a solid contributor in most fantasy leagues.
