Catcher Will Smith went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two strikeouts as the Dodgers lost to the Padres 5-2 on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Yu Darvish had his way with the Dodgers, allowing just one run on two hits, so it was tough sledding for LA. Smith picked up his first hit in the eighth inning when he took Craig Stammen deep to narrow the deficit to 5-2. The 26-year-old backstop has now gone deep three times over the last seven games. For the season, he's sashing .270/.373/.492 with nine home runs and 26 RBI over 185 at-bats.
