Denard Span homers in win over Braves

The Washington Nationals pounded the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, 13-4. Denard Span knocked in three with a three-run home run in the ninth inning. It was Span's second home run of the season. He finished the game 2-for-6 and is now batting .317.
Fantasy Impact:
Span has seven hits in the last two games, after starting the season 6-for-29. Span has shown surprising power, with a slugging percentage of .561, much higher than his career mark of .394. While the power likely wont continue, Span should remain a solid fantasy contributor.
