Dylan Carlson just 3-for-15 in past five games

by Lucas Spence | Cardinals Correspondent | Tue, Jun 22nd 11:53pm EDT

Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson went 1-for-3 with a base knock on Tuesday in an 8-2 loss to the Tigers.

Fantasy Impact:

The talented young switch-hitter has fallen into a slump over the past week, hitting just .200 over the past five games with only one extra-base hit. Carlson is now hitting a pedestrian .265/.352/.403 with just six home runs on the season. He has not attempted a stolen base all year and has not homered since June 2nd. The future remains bright for the 22-year-old but nevertheless, it's been a disappointing season thus far for the Cardinals outfielder.
