Max Muncy reaches twice in return on Tuesday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Jun 23rd 2:21am EDT

First baseman Max Muncy went 0-for-2 with two walks as the Dodgers lost to the Padres by a score of 5-0 on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Muncy was making his return to the lineup after spending the last 10 days on the injured list with an oblique strain. He didn't record a hit on Tuesday but he reached base twice, which is what he's done best all season. The 30-year-old is slashing .262/.419/.523 with 14 home runs, 33 RBI, and an impressive 50:48 K/BB ratio over 195 at-bats this season. Cody Bellinger (hamstring) will rejoin the team on Wednesday, which should be another welcome sign for the Dodgers.
