Brady Singer walks season-high five batters in no-decision Tuesday

Kansas City Royals pitcher Brady Singer allowed two runs on five hits and five walks while striking out across three 2/3 innings during Wednesday’s 6-5 win over the Yankees. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Singer didn’t miss a turn in the rotation after exiting his previous start with shoulder tightness. He threw 91 pitches but walked a season-high five batters in Tuesday’s no-decision. The 24-year-old surrendered home runs to Luke Voit and Kyle Higashioka before exiting after three 2/3 innings. Singer owns a 4.77 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, and a 76:30 K: BB across 71 2/3 innings in 2021. The Royals right-hander will look pitch deeper into the game in his next projected start on the road Sunday against the Rangers.
