Lucas Giolito tosses seven strong innings in Tuesday’s no-decision
by Brad Camara | Red Sox Correspondent | Wed, Jun 23rd 9:29am EDT
Chicago White Sox ace Lucas Giolito allowed two earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven across six innings Tuesday’s 6-3 loss against the Pirates. He did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Giolito posted his third straight quality start but has been unable to pick up the win during that span. His only mistake was surrendering a solo shot to Adam Frazier in the third frame. Giolito has been lights out this season, owning a (5-5) record along with a 3.80 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and a 15.8 swinging striking percentage across 87 2/3 innings. The White Sox ace will look to keep things rolling in a favorable matchup Sunday against the Mariners.
