Blake Treinen takes the loss to the Padres on Wednesday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Thu, Jun 24th 1:58am EDT

RHP Blake Treinen took the loss on Wednesday when he allowed two runs on two hits with one strikeout across an inning pitched as the Dodgers lost to the Padres 5-3.

Fantasy Impact:

Treinen entered in the bottom of the seventh inning after Trevor Bauer served up the game-tying home run to Victor Caratini and walked Jurickson Profar. He got Tommy Pham to ground out and picked off Jurickson Profar before striking out Fernando Tatis Jr. to end the inning. He remained in the game for the eighth inning but served up a double to Jake Cronenworth and a single to Manny Machado to start things off. He was replaced by Victor Gonzalez who allowed one run to score and then Joe Kelly who let the other inherited runner cross home plate. So Treinen was saddled with the loss and the Dodgers were swept in San Diego for the first time since 2013.
