Carlos Santana blasts solo shot in loss to Yankees
by Brad Camara | Twins Correspondent | Thu, Jun 24th 6:34am EDT
Kansas City Royals first baseman Carlos Santana went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Santana took Yankees reliever Zach Britton deep in the top of the eighth inning for his 12th long ball of the season. He’s now reached base in 11 of his last 12 contests. The veteran first baseman is slashing .313/.389/.458 with two home runs, five RBI, six walks, and seven runs scored during that span. Santana continues to rake in 2021 and has seen his WRC+ jump from 96 last year to 118 this season.
