Jorge Soler doubles in loss to Yankees

by Brad Camara | Giants Correspondent | Thu, Jun 24th 7:52am EDT

Kansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler went 1-for-4 with a double during Wednesday’s 6-5 loss to the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact:

Soler doubled off Yankees reliever Zach Britton in the top of the eight inning during Wednesday’s loss for his 14 double of the season. The 29-year-old is in a prolonged slump and is slashing .183/.283/.329 with six home runs, 28 RBI, and 21 runs scored across 254 plate appearances in 2021. Soler’s numbers are down across the board and the Royals outfielder is mainly worth rostering in deep-league formats until he can turn things around.
