Chris Davis throws ball in empty stadium bleachers

by Stacie Rigby | Thu, Apr 30th 2:12pm EDT

Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis hits a three-run homer in Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox in the first inning but none of the fans saw it. That is because the City of Baltimore is under a State of Emergency due to the violent riots and protests stemming from an arrested city resident, Freddie Gray, who died in police custody. Fantasy Impact:

Davis is working on becoming a power hitter by going 1-for-4 in Saturday's game, with his average at .250 with 3 RBIs. Unfortunately, due to the "fan block-out," there was no one to catch the ball he playfully threw in the stands as he ran off the field.
