Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts during Thursday’s 8-1 loss to the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Perez exited Wednesday’s game early after getting hit in the mask with a pitch. He didn’t miss any time but served as the Royals designated hitter in Thursday’s contest. The 2020 AL Comeback Player of the Year is having a terrific 2021 campaign, slashing .284/.314/.526 with 18 home runs, 47 RBI, and 36 runs scored across 73 games.
