Tony Santillan earns first win Thursday

by Connor Rooney | Reds Correspondent | Fri, Jun 25th 8:46am EDT

Tony Santillan (1-1) picked up his first win Thursday against Atlanta, allowing one run on three hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out eight.

Fantasy Impact:

Santillan surrendered a solo homer to Freddie Freeman in the first; other than that, it was totally smooth sailing for the rookie pitcher en route to his first quality start in the majors. He lowered his season ERA to 3.29, and now has 16 strikeouts in 13.2 innings. He'll take on the Padres at home next week.
