Yermin Merceds remains on the bench in Friday’s loss

Chicago White Sox designated hitter Yermin Mercedes didn’t play in Friday’s 9-3 loss to the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Mercedes was out of the starting lineup for a third consecutive game. After starting the season on fire, the 28-year-old is hitting .050 (1-for-20) with nine strikeouts over his last six games. Fantasy managers outside deep-league formats can drop Mercedes until he turns things around. The Yerminator is slashing .270/.324/.404 with seven home runs, 34 RBI, and 22 runs scored across 250 plate appearances in 2021.
