Willie Calhoun (forearm) suffers a fracture

by Corbin Young | Angels Correspondent | Sun, Jun 27th 12:33am EDT

Rangers designated hitter Willie Calhoun suffered a fracture to his left forearm. This news came after Calhoun was hit by a pitch on Saturday. Calhoun scored one run before leaving Saturday's game. (Levi Weaver on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

That is unfortunate news for Calhoun and the Rangers since he will likely hit the injured list for an extensive amount of time. He had five home runs with a .254 batting average in 2021. The next best replacement probably involves David Dahl when he returns from the injured list in late June. Outside of Dahl, the Rangers don't have any clear gainers from Calhoun's injury.
