The bad luck continues for Calhoun, who has had four IL stints over the past three seasons. He had been hitting .254/.323/.385 with 19 RBI, 19 walks, and 27 strikeouts this season. To fill Calhoun's roster spot, Texas recalled outfielder Jason Martin.
