Zach McKinstry swats a grand slam in win over the Cubs

by Jon Mathisen | Tigers Correspondent | Mon, Jun 28th 12:06am EDT

Outfielder Zach McKinstry went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and two strikeouts as the Dodgers blew out the Cubs 7-1 in Sunday's series finale.

Fantasy Impact:

McKinstry put the Dodgers on the board in a major way in the bottom of the second inning when swatted his first career grand slam off of Adbert Alzolay to put the Dodgers up 4-0. It was part of a six-run second inning for L.A. The 26-year-old rookie picked up a single in the contest as well and is now slashing .259/.309/.455 with five home runs, 26 RBI, and a stolen base over 112 at-bats this season. He has fantasy upside but it won't be realized until he gets the chance to play everyday.
