Wade LeBlanc goes 4 1/3 innings, yields one run in start for St. Louis

by Lucas Spence | Mon, Jun 28th 11:53pm EDT

Wade LeBlanc moved into the starting rotation on Monday and pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing four hits, an earned run, and a walk while striking out two in a no-decision.

Fantasy Impact:

With John Gant being moved to the bullpen, it was the 36-year-old LeBlanc who took his spot in the rotation and pitched admirably for the Cardinals against a weak Arizona lineup. The veteran southpaw pitched to a 9.45 ERA in 6 2/3 innings with Baltimore earlier this season before being released and signing on with the Cardinals. He'll draw another start this weekend against Colorado in Coors Field and can be left on the waiver wire in all fantasy leagues.
