David Peralta picks up an RBI

by Jon Mathisen | Cubs Correspondent | Wed, Jun 30th 5:14pm EDT

Outfielder David Peralta went 0-for-2 with an RBI groundout as the Diamondbacks lost to the Cardinals 7-4 on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Peralta didn't start in this contest but came in later as a defensive replacement/pinch-hitter. He picked up an RBI groundout in the eighth inning but was hitless over his two at-bats. The 33-year-old is stuck in a slump at the moment and is just 4-for-25 over the last seven games. It's been a rough year for almost everyone on the D-Backs and Peralta is no exception. He's batting .252 with a .709 OPS to go along with four home runs, 37 RBI, and one stolen base over 270 at-bats this year. He's just an NL-only/deeper mixed league option right now.
