Chicago White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech (3-0) allowed one while striking out none across a scoreless inning to earn the win during Thursday’s 8-5 victory over the Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
Kopech (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. He threw a scoreless inning and picked up the win on Thursday in his first appearance since returning from the IL. The 25-year-old owns a 1.67 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and 45 strikeouts across 32 1/3 innings in 2021. Kopech continues to pitch well as a starter or reliever and should be rostered in deep-league formats.
