Tommy Edman was dropped back down to the sixth spot in the lineup on Friday night but responded by going 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a walk, an RBI, and a stolen base in a win over Colorado.
Fantasy Impact:
The stolen base was Edman's 15th of the season which has by far been his biggest contribution in the fantasy realm this season. Both of Edman's hits on Friday were singles. In fact, out of Edman's 87 hits this season, 62 have been singles which explains why his OPS remains a paltry .678. With that said, his ability to score runs and steal bases has kept him relevant as a mixed-league fantasy asset this season.
