Chicago White Sox pitcher Dallas Keuchel (6-3) allowed seven earned runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out two across four innings during Saturday’s 11-5 loss to the Tigers. He was tagged with his third loss of the season.
Keuchel cruised through the first three innings before surrendering a three-run shot to Eric Hasse in the fourth frame. The Tigers tacked on four more runs off Keuchel in the fifth inning tagging him with his third loss of the season. He allowed a season-high seven runs on Saturday after allowing three runs or less in his previous five appearances. He owns a 4.48 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and a 55:30 K: BB across 90 1/3 innings in 2021. Keuchel will look for better results against the Twins next week.
