Wade LeBlanc goes 5 2/3 scoreless at Coors Field on Saturday

by Lucas Spence | Cardinals Correspondent | Sun, Jul 4th 12:59pm EDT

Cardinals starter Wade LeBlanc pitched 5 2/3 shutout innings against the Rockies on Saturday, yielding just three hits and three walks to go along with three strikeouts in a no-decision.

Fantasy Impact:

The Cardinals would go on to lose 3-2, but LeBlanc pitched admirably in a tough pitching environment. The 36-year-old left-hander has given up just one run in his past two starts (10 innings) for St. Louis after joining the team following his release from Baltimore earlier in the season. He'll face the Cubs next weekend in his final start before the All-Star break but is not a recommended fantasy option for that matchup in Wrigley Field.
