Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday that will extend through the All-Star break. (Tom Haudricourt on Twitter )

Cain has been sidelined since late May with a strained right hamstring. He will begin a long rehab assignment on Wednesday. Barring a setback, the 34-year-old could rejoin the Brewers in mid-July. Cain is slashing .232/.322/.350 with three homers, nine RBI, and four stolen bases across 118 plate appearances. Fantasy managers should continue to stash the veteran outfielder for now.
