Nolan Arenado went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a 5-3 win over the Giants on Monday.
Arenado's seventh inning single to lead off the inning ended Kevin Gausman's no-hit bid while his second single in the eighth inning drove in a run. Arenado's offensive production has predictably regressed this season (.264 AVG, .821 OPS) after leaving the friendly environment of Coors Field this offseason. However, Arenado still leads his team in home runs, doubles, and RBI and was yet again named the starting third baseman for the National League All-Star team next week in Denver. It will be Arenado's sixth career All-Star selection and his fourth consecutive start for the NL at the hot corner.
