Tony Gonsolin looks sharp in no-decision

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Jul 7th 2:29am EDT

RHP Tony Gonsolin took a no-decision on Tuesday when he allowed just two hits with a walk and three strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings in a 2-1 loss to the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact:

This was the deepest Gonsolin has gone in a start this year and he likely could have gone longer as he was pulled with just 72 pitches. He blanked the Marlins over his five-plus innings and should have the reins taken off him in the second half of the year. He'll be a fantasy asset moving forward. He'll carry a 1-0 record, 2.11 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 25:14 K/BB ratio over 21 1/3 innings (six games, five starts) this season.
