Blake Treinen takes the loss in extra-innings on Tuesday

RHP Blake Treinen took the loss on Tuesday when he surrendered one unearned run with a strikeout in a 2-1 loss to the Marlins in extra-innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Treinen came on in relief Scott Alexander in the ninth inning, who had worked himself into quite a jam. With two outs and the bases loaded, Treinen was able to get Starling Marte to ground out to preserve the 1-1 tie. He wasn't so lucky in the bottom of the 10th inning when he threw a wild pitch that got by Will Smith. Marte, who started the inning on second base, was able to reach third and then advanced home on a throwing error by Smith. Treinen was credited with the loss but it wasn't entirely his fault. He still owns a solid 2.86 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 40:10 K/BB ratio over 34 2/3 innings.
