Fantasy Impact:
Martinez will be sidelined indefinitely with a torn ligament in his right thumb. He was placed on the 10-day injured list and currently has no timetable for a return. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation but can move on from Martinez in all league formats. Lars Nootbaar was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday.
