Mitch White works as bulk reliever on Wednesday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Thu, Jul 8th 1:03am EDT

RHP Mitch White allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits with one walk and five strikeouts over four innings of relief in a 9-6 loss to the Marlins on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

White came on in the second inning after opener Jake Reed surrendered one run over the first inning. White fired off 65 pitches over his four innings while serving up a solo home run to Jesus Sanchez and an RBI double to Jesus Aguilar. He managed to strike out five as well. He was recalled earlier in the day as the Dodgers placed Clayton Kershaw on the injured list so he could remain with the team until the All-Star break.
